1: Start by registering your email for an account at https://hire.athomecaregroup.co.uk to create your dashboard

2: AtHome will then match these requirements to the carers available based on the information you have provided.

3: Matched carers will then be presented as profiles on your dashboard for you to review

4: Once you have chosen a carer, you can chat to them

7: If you like the carer, we help you with the correct paperwork you will need, including a template carer and client agreement for you to fill in, review and complete for your carer.

AtHome Care Group is a UK introductory care agency connecting families directly with pre-checked, self-employed carers for live-in care, hourly care, respite care and companionship. Clients choose their own carer and remain in control of their care arrangement before and during their engagement with their carer.

  • It is FREE to register with AtHome. We do not charge the client to register or view carers, you only pay for care when you book care. We are striving to make care more affordable, personalised and to give people needing care and their families control over how and where they source care. In addition, we want to keep the cost of supplying care as cost effective as we can.

  • It is FREE to register with AtHome. We do not charge carers or companions to register or use our service. We are striving to make it easier for clients and carers to work together.

  • Many care agencies charge up to 60% of the end cost of the care as a fee to run their services, this gets swallowed up in administration so carers usually receive around minimum wage.

    Clients pay their carer the agreed care fees directly

    To run our service, we charge a flat fee to the client.

    • For hourly care AtHome Charges a £6 introductory fee for each hour booked

    • For live in Care, AtHome Charges an £18.50 introductory fee for each day booked

    That’s it, no other fees apply

  • We want to help everyone benefit from direct care sourcing to reduce their care costs.

    Unfortunately, we cannot run this service for free.


    To enable us to offer a bespoke and innovative service, software, phone lines, insurance, marketing and salaries we need to charge a low fee.

    We have streamlined as much as possible to reduce the fees we charge, and we will continue to do so.

    We believe our low fee is very competitive, enabling clients to find care directly 24/7.

    We believe we offer a much needed solution for engaging self-employed carers and companions directly by clients.

  • Our carers love us as we treat them which honesty and respect - just ask one! We offer self-employed carers and companions the opportunity to register completely for free with us. We don't take any of their wages like most other agenices and online platforms and we don’t discourage them from registering with any other agency. Why? Because we believe they will get the best experience with AtHome working directly with the client. Our competitive fees allows both carers and clients to negotiate fair rates for both parties. The money saved in agency fees with AtHome can be used to pay the carers more, book more care and create a better all round experience for clients and carers
