What is enhanced care?

Enhanced care is generally where a person requires more than just day-to-day support with personal care, there needs are more complex.

They may have a specific complex condition, such as having had a stroke, motor neurone disease, a brain injury or multiple sclerosis.

Carers registered on the AtHome portal will have the appropriate skills and training in order to meet more complex needs, other conditions may also include:

• Dementia and behavioural needs

• PEG feeding

• Stoma/catheter care

• Bipap/C-pap

• Bowel management

• Cough assist

It is not always possible for a carer to assist with all conditions, so if you would like to discuss specific assistance with a complex need, please meail hello@athomecaregroup.co.uk
